The case involving too much anesthesia

Irma had been having pain in her wrists for some time. She had been evaluated by her surgeon who advised a carpal tunnel surgery to relieve the pain. After the outpatient surgery, it was obvious Irma wasn't the same. She was confused and did not know who she was. Unfortunately, Irma did not get better with time. Irma's sister asked The Girards Law Firm to help her get the answers to what happened that she was unable to get on her own. When the Girards Law Firm investigated, it found that the anesthesiologist had kept Irma's pulse and blood pressure too low during the surgery and her brain had been starved of oxygen resulting in a brain injury. The firm was able to achieve a settlement for Irma that was sufficient to meet her life care needs for the remainder of her life.

This case settled before trial for $1.2 million.
