On Friday, October 28, 2022 an 18-Wheeler crash killed two people in North Carolina

North Carolina Highway Patrol reported a collision between an 18-wheeler and a passenger car on highway NC 33. The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured; two people on the car died at the scene.

As with many 18-wheeler collisions, the gross disparity in mass between heavy trucks and passenger cars results in catastrophic injuries to the occupants of the passenger cars.
