New superbugs such as MRSA have been wreaking havoc for years and more varieties of antibiotic resistant bacteria seem to be in the news every day. But, a new study published in the open journal PlosOne shows that a human breast milk protein-lipid complex known as HAMLET can increase the susceptibility of MRSA to treatment. As this is confirmed by more study, expect to see this new treatment incorporated into medical care soon.
