A Midland, TX city employee was killed in a fatal accident with an 18-wheeler on Tuesday. David Bailey, 46, was pronounced dead on the scene after the noon-time crash on Tuesday near East Loop 250 and Interstate 20. Texas DPS said Bailey was southbound on East Loop 250 when he struck an 18-wheeler that puled out from a stop sign on the northbound I20 service road. At the time of the collision, Bailey was driving a garbage truck for the City’s solid waste department. He was employed by the City of Midland since December 2011.
