MADISONVILLE, Texas A collision with oilfield equipment killed a driver on Thursday March 20, 2014. The equipment fell off an 18-wheeler. Some have said this was a freak accident. But, federal motor carrier regulations require trucking companies and their drivers to properly secure loads before taking to the streets. Had the regulations been followed this tragedy would not have happened. The federal cargo securement rules are available by clicking here.
