On Monday, September 8, 2014, an 18-wheeler hauling rocks veered into oncoming traffic on Highway 114 in Denton County, Texas, hitting an oncoming 18-wheeler, and killing the driver of an oncoming car. The highway was closed for a time to clean up the wreckage. The driver of the rock-hauler was flown to JPS Hospital. It appears at this point that numerous trucking regulations were violated contributing to this tragedy. Our hearts go out to the families of the injured and deceased.
