The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration ordered bus company Autobuses Rayon, Inc. shut-down immediately as a threat to public safety. The bus company was found to be allowing other bus companies that had previously been shut-down to operate with Autobuses Rayon registration markings. On inspection, 5 of the buses had a total of 36 out-of-service violations. There was also drug and alcohol use by the drivers and some did not have valid commercial drivers' licenses. Read the Order here.
