By James Girards. The CDC issued its latest report on motor vehicle safety. Deaths of children 12 and under have decreased by 43% over the last decade due to proper use of restraints. However, half of black and hispanic children in the study period who died were not restrained so more needs to be done. The report reminds parents to buckle kiddos up every time no matter how short the trip, use proper child safety seats, and always be a good example by wearing your own seat belt. Read the report here.
