Texas-licensed truck driver Scotty G. Arnst is an imminent hazard to public safety according to USDOT and he has been ordered not to operate any commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce.
On Sept. 22, 2013, Arnst was driving an 18-wheeler on Arkansas State Highway 7 near Harrison, Ark., when he struck two people who were changing a flat tire, killing both. FMCSA learned that Arnst was involved in five commercial motor vehicle crashes in addition to his prior terminations as a commercial vehicle operator for high risk driving. They also identified potentially disqualifying medical conditions which he had failed to disclose to employers.
