In a nursing-home negligence case appealing dismissal based on allegedly deficient Chapter 74 preliminary expert report, the provider argued that the report was deficient for failing to specify how providing one-on-one supervision would have prevented the claimant’s unwitnessed fall.  In reversing, the court of appeals observed that while courts may not fill gaps in an expert’s opinion, they “need not disregard logic.”
