Friday morning, April 25, 2014, an 18-wheeler hauling sand exited I-10 in the San Antonio suburb of Schertz and drove off the roadway right through a nearby house. The truck and house burst into flames. The driver was killed. One family member was seriously burned in the early morning incident.
